Welcome to ~Wild-Artists, the club for wildlife and animal art and artists!

Hello members!

Thanks to your efforts to spread the word, we now have more than 40 members! Let's see if we can reach 50 before the end of the week!

If you're enjoying the art our members are submitting to the gallery and you'd like to see more, why not tell your friends about the club and help us to get even more members! =Rianne2k8 has already done a fantastic job getting interest from more than ten deviants in one day!

If you have any ideas for how we can spread the word and promote the club, please comment here! Also, please comment to let us know if you'd be interested in taking part in contests as it's hard to tell if we have enough members yet. Especially, would you be interested in a contest to design a banner or deviantID to help promote the club, or would you prefer a contest about certain types of animals or wildlife, or perhaps to promote certain ideas, moods or concepts? For now the contest winner will likely win a place on the featured deviation spot and a feature on the moderator's journal as we don't even have funds to pay for a club subscription, let alone prizes. Please comment here with your ideas and preferences AND if you'd be interested in taking part!

Because we've now got lots of interest and activity (there were 18 submissions this week!), the submissions limit has now been reduced to three submissions a week. I hope you all understand, that's still quite generous compared to some clubs.

As we now have almost a hundred submissions, there's also been some changes to make the club gallery more useful for you: All the art is now separated into folders to help you to find art of the types of animals you're interested in. You can find links to these at the side of the gallery page and here:

Other clubs, would you be interested in becoming an affiliate to ~Wild-Artists? We're especially interested in forming a partnership with a photography-only animal and wildlife club, so we can send photography submissions to our partner and vice versa.
